190 – 348 Jiffy Stand Reinforcement

348 JIFFY STAND REINFORCEMENT

The jiffy stand bracket may be reinforced to prevent breakage by anchoring it to the frame lower tube by means of a “J” shaped 3/8″ bolt, nut and plain washer.

The brackets must be drilled for the “J” bolt (.386 diameter drill) as shown on the sketch below.

Write in to the Indian Service Department for the number of “J” bolts, nuts and washers you need for installation on
the early 348 models which did not have the jiffy stand bracket reinforcement.

Those parts will be shipped to you no charge.

1 – 606012 Nut
1 – 920008 Washer
