FELT WASHERS FOR BATTERY TERMINALS
TO PREVENT CORROSION
Machines now being shipped from the factory have two felt washers packed in the small cloth bag attached to the
handle bars. These washers are for use on the battery terminals to prevent corrosion and sulphating at these points.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Soak these washers in a light oil such as SAE-10 or SAE-20. Then slip them over the battery terminal (before connecting the cables) between the body of the battery and the terminal screw.
