Premature and excessive wearing of the generator belt is caused by the pulleys or the generator and generator drive not being in proper alignment. To remedy this condition, we suggest that you remove the generator guard and check this alignment. If they do not line up, loosen the clamp around the generator and slide the generator to the right or
left until the pulley on the generator lines up with the pulley on the drive.
