Have you ever overfilled your gas tank? And had fuel running down the outside of your tank?
This felt is designed to fit on the outside of your gas tank bung, and absorb any fuel or oil that seaps out of the caps.

Tech Tip: After a day’s riding, remove the felts from around your gas bungs, and hand them on your rear brake pedal to dry. This will prevent the damp felt from staining your tank over time.
The oil tank felt does not need to be removed.
On your next ride, they will be dry and ready to re-install.
