1949 Indian Arrow

1949 Indian Arrow - 

I purchased this 1949 Indian (Golden Arrow) over 20 years ago on Jan 16^th 1984 in Edmonton Alberta when the snow was flying from a fellow that was storing it inside his apartment. The odometer reading is 4699 miles today as it was the day of my purchase.  Serial # is 13598 engine 1493956     It has been stored inside ever since and is now in Victoria, British Columbia.

This bike was first produced in 1949 by Europeans who spent 6 million on the design.  It has a poorly designed die cast aluminum case. It also had transmission problems.  There were only 1000 made in 1949, 500 with shocks and 500 without.  This bike is best left in its original condition.
