Crossing the Mississippi
As luck would have it was we left Davenport Monday morning, the heat wave had broken, and it was to be a 75 degree day. So after we spend four days in 100 degrees, it finally cools as we leave :(
Strange Building
While we were driving thru St Louis we saw this strange looking office building. It was right on the Mississippi River, so they did have a pretty view!
Anheuser-Busch Brewery
Sunday morning our friends from Australia left for other parts of the country, but based upon their beer intake in Davenport. They should have followed us to St Louis, because we passed the Anheuser Busch brewery were they offer free tours, and free samples at the end of the tour. Luckily we decided not to stop so we could drive sober.
