1939 Indian Chief

1939
Indian Chief - Completely restored.
I purchased this bike in 1992. It was restored but
not good enough for me, so I restored it to my satisfaction. I rebuilt the
engine, transmission, all parts that needed done. I chromed the rims, put new
tires and tubes. Spokes, nipples and all nuts, and bolts were cadium plated.
The frame, fenders, tanks, and chain guard were painted by a
professional. The color is cream and burgundy with gold pinstriping. It was
also clear coated. The bike came with a side car in 1938. The previous owner
made a tub for the sidecar frame, like a 1940. Very nice job. Same color as
the bike. This bike has matching numbers, NB canada titled.
I've owned Indians since 1959.
